London Wedding Videographer

I just love filming in London. There is a certain energy that the capital brings and I love taking a couple out onto the streets and hearing the well wishes from people on the street.

Hello, I’m Philip, a wedding videographer based on the Essex and Suffolk border but I’ve been filming weddings in London since 2013, from historic buildings and city hotels to riverside spaces and converted warehouses.

I’ve now filmed almost 400 weddings, including celebrations at iconic London venues such as The Ned, Trinity Buoy Wharf, Eight Club and Bingham Riverhouse. I love the variety London brings, the busyness of it all and the incredible images on offer.

Whether I know a venue well or it’s my first time there, my approach is always the same. I take time to understand the spaces and how the day will unfold, then capture it as it happens, without turning it into a film shoot.

The people, the words and the atmosphere all matter. That’s what makes a wedding film worth watching years later.

I’m based on the Essex and Suffolk border, but I love filming weddings in London. I’ve been lucky enough to work at some brilliant venues across the city, and have returned to a few of them time and again.

I’ve filmed weddings at The Ned, Trinity Buoy Wharf, Eight Club and Bingham Riverhouse. Each has its own character, from the energy of the city to the quieter moments by the Thames.

Knowing a venue makes a real difference. At places I’ve filmed before, I know where I can move discreetly during the ceremony, where the light works well and how the day tends to flow. If it’s somewhere new to me, I’ll take time to understand the layout and timings beforehand. Either way, I’ll make the most of the time between the formal parts of the wedding.
