Haughley Park Wedding Video | Rebecca & William

Haughley Park Wedding Video | Rebecca & William

Shot on location at Haughley Park, Suffolk | April 2023

I really enjoyed Rebecca & William’s wedding & I had a great time with them both on the day. They, finally, got the day they wanted & I loved putting together their Haughley Park Wedding Video.

This was a very different wedding & as mentioned in both William’s speech & Rebecca’s Father’s speech, this day was a hangover from the Covid-19 Pandemic. Rebecca & William had actually got married around a year ago. Fed up of the constant rearrangements brought on by restrictions in public gatherings, they’d decided to just get it done, & today was the ‘full’ wedding to supersede the legal bit that was sorted over a year ago.

We’d actually started talking about filming their day back in 2020 so it was a delight to be able to finally film their Wedding.

The morning was busy, I met the girls at the venue in the morning for their prep, mindful not to wake a sleeping baby Ophelia (who was good as gold all day long!) before heading 5 minutes round the corner to meet Will in the pub opposite the church. This was of course the same church in which they were already married in so the mood in the church was very relaxed. So much so that the Vicar called for the guests to stand to meet the Bride & Groom whilst myself & photographer Emma Gosling were still outside with the couple. Cue a hurried run down the aisle to get in to position just in time for Rebecca & Will to walk down the aisle with Ophelia.

The rest of the day was a joy. A wonderful reception & Speeches alongwith full dancing into the evening. This was a really good day.

I hope Rebecca & William, along with their friends & family, enjoy this film of their day. I loved putting together their Haughley Park Wedding Video & I thank them for their help & hospitality on the day.

How did you both meet?

Bumble! Our first date was in Warwick and was spent chatting over a load of random topics that we found to have in common. We ended up only drinking one drink over about 4 hours!

Why did you choose Haughley Park?

We looked at quite a few but when we walked into the barn we just knew (corny as it sounds), we both turned and said to each other we couldn’t imagine getting married anywhere else. We cancelled all other viewings and booked Haughley Park and so glad that we did!

Why did you choose me for your Haughley Park Wedding?

From your podcast. We saw the link on our photographer’s Instagram, listened and knew if we had budget leftover we wanted you. Your videos are epic!

What would be your number one tip to other couples planning their wedding?

Be organised. It’s never too early to start. Don’t listen to anyone else, it’s your day, the only one you may have to compromise with is your other half
