Tracy and Jim put together a wonderful day at The Lion Inn, and it was a pleasure to be able to spend the day with them. I loved putting together another Lion Inn Wedding video.
Filming a wedding at The Lion Inn is always a beautiful experience. The venue itself is full of charm and character. With its stunning surroundings & rustic interior, it is the perfect backdrop for a wedding. Tracy and Jim were a total joy to work with and their guests and family fully embraced the day, contributing to the loving tone of the Wedding. The whole day had a very relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.
I spent much of the morning going back & forth between the venue set up and Tracy’s prep. The girls prep, was very relaxed and both myself and photographer Tracy Morter were greeted with offers of tea, coffee and prosecco. The light in the Lion that morning was beautiful and it was good to be filming out on the bridal terrace & finally feeling some sun on our faces.
I love filming at The Lion Inn. In this industry we often say pretentious things like ‘it suits my eye’ – but it really does. The whole look and feel of the venue, the shadows, the reflections, all fit. I’ve shot at the venue many times and have always enjoyed my time there. Suppliers are always looked after and the day is run so well.
I hope Tracy and Jim along with their friends and family, enjoy this film of their day. I loved putting together their Lion Inn Wedding and I thank them for their help and hospitality on the day.
How did you both meet?
We met in 2013 in a sticky floored late night bar in Hackney called The Dolphin which has since closed down. We bonded over Goldschlager shots and swapped numbers before our phone batteries died and the rest as they say is history really. Jim text me the next day and there probably hasn’t been a day we haven’t spoken or messaged since!
Why did you choose The Lion Inn, Boreham
We had been for dinner a few times at The Lion Inn and just really loved the relaxed feel to the venue. We looked at Houchins too but preferred the set up at the Lion and the accommodation for some of our family and friends.

You were recommended to us by Tracy Morter and as soon as we saw the way you film weddings and capture the day we knew you would be the right choice for us.
What would be your number one tip to other couples planning their wedding?
Get the big things done early and then be confident in your decisions!
