I had a great time at this wedding and I loved putting together Keeley and Lewis’ Houchins Wedding Video. One of the things I most enjoyed about this day, and most admired about Keeley and Lewis, was that they did things their way. For example, they didn’t fancy doing a first dance in front of everyone….so they just danced on their own. That integrity, particularly around the demands of a wedding day, should be admired.
Houchins is a stunning wedding venue located in the heart of the Essex countryside, outside of Coggeshall. I’m luckily to be a recommended supplier here and I always love coming back to the venue. I’ve shot here many times, many more than any other venue and I’m always welcomed and looked after by the team.
My day started early, arriving on site at Houchins to see the girls and say hello. From then I started grabbing some establishing shots of the venue and filming some of the wedding set up, including Lewis and his brothers getting ready.
One of my favourite moments of the day came during the speeches, when Keeley and Lewis made a surprise gender reveal to their friends and family. It was a wonderful moment ond one that was full of joy.
All in all, Keely and Lewis created a magical day, and I was so privileged to have been a part of it. Houchins is such a beautiful wedding venue and I always love coming back here. I hope Keeley and Lewis, along with their friends and family, enjoy this film of their day. How did you both meet?
We met on tinder, had our first date in a bar called walkabout in Colchester where we had a great night and knew it was something special.
Why did you choose Houchins?
We looked at three all together but we chose Houchins because we knew we wanted an intimate wedding . With lots of greenery , another reason was the marquee and the ability to get married outside .
Why did you choose me for your Houchins Wedding?
We both liked how your videos were well put together and how you incorporated some of the speeches into them. The feeling you get from watching the videos you have created was heartwarming which is what we were looking for.
