High House Wedding | Rebecca & Connor

Oh man. What a wedding this was. I LOVED my time with Rebecca & Connor. Their High House Wedding was a dream to film & a whole load of fun to be a part of. My thanks to them both for letting me be a part of their day.
Rebecca & Connor were a joy to work for. Both engaged & excited by the process in the lead up to the wedding, on the day itself they were welcoming & enthusiastic about what myself & photographer John Thompson were trying to do.
I arrived early to High House to meet an excited Rebecca for her bridal prep. From there, I gathered shots of High House before waiting for Connor to arrive with his brother. The only complex moment was trying to get shots of Connor leaving the registrar’s meeting to head back to his friends, whilst at the exact time Rebecca’s Dad was about to see her for the first time.
I managed to do both whilst also NOT falling into the swimming pool – which is always my biggest fear during a High House Wedding!
It was great to work alongside John once again – I’m writing this blog the day after working with him again, we seemed to have been together a lot this year, I think I’ve seen him more that I’ve seen my wife! Check his work out though – he’s a good man & a great photographer.
I hope Rebecca & Connor, along with their friends & family, enjoy this film of their day. I loved putting together their High House Wedding film & I thank them for their help & hospitality on the day.
How Did You both Meet?
Together for 13 years – We are High School sweet hearts! We first met in after school ICT lessons, Connor was a cheeky lad who kept getting told off for flirting with Rebecca during lessons…once we got together the rest was history. We have grown up together from prom, first jobs, first house together, and now to become husband and wife.
Why did you choose High House?
We both wanted an venue that spoke for itself and didn’t have a dark room for where the ceremony took place. High House just ticked all the boxes for us, the grounds were so well kept, it just said a lot about how the venue was run. The whole High House team from our first viewing were incredible and made us feel so comfortable and relaxed. High House was our second venue we visited and we booked it the next morning without any hesitation.
How did you find me?
We first came across you on High House recommended suppliers list, and straight away we could see why! We love your style on how you capture weddings. Most of all, we love how you include audio from the speeches/vows from the day, which for us makes us feel the video is more personal to the couple.
We also knew you had already worked with our photographer (Pure Image) before, so we knew we would have a great team to capture our special day.
