High House Wedding Video | Emma and Travis

Another great wedding at High House. I’ve almost certainly spent more time at High House in 2023 than I have in my own house. This was a great day though, and I loved putting together Emma and Travis’ High House Wedding Video.
Emma and Travis’ story is brilliant. Having moved in together during lockdown, it was the pandemic that brought them both together, and I loved Travis telling their story during his speech. A quick shout out to their ‘Flower Man’ who kicked off the ceremony with a little pirouette and a flurry of flowers.
For me, this was a really lovely wedding to film, and I loved spending time with Sarah M Photography, who I’ve known for about 20 years. Sarah is always fun to hang out with, and we had a good day with Emma and Travis.
I hope Emma and Travis along with their friends and family, enjoy this film of their day. I loved putting together their High House Wedding Video, and I thank them for their help and their hospitality on the day.
How did you guys both meet?
We first met back in school however never really spoke much. After that we used to bump into each other in bars/clubs etc as he was a barman and used to catch up time to time as friends. Eventually, just before covid hit we started meeting up a bit more and the day covid lockdowns were announced Travis was round mine having dinner. We both looked at each other and said it wasn’t worth us both locking down on our own so his only stipulation was that he bring his Xbox. From there him and his Xbox never left.
What made you choose High House?
We looked at a few online but High House was the first and only place we looked at in person. We walked in and loved it. We were set on an outdoor wedding but new we needed a back up in case of bad weather and this place ticked all the boxes. It even made us question whether we should get married in the barn instead. All other venues we saw we were not keen on the indoor ceremony rooms. Also we were set on a relaxed wedding breakfast which again High House ticked and actually used the caterer we had been looking at previously. It’s just such a beautiful venue.
Why did you choose me for your High House Wedding Video?
We looked at previous work of yours and the style just seemed to fit right for us and was very natural, which was a must for us. We couldn’t quite put our finger on what we liked and disliked in other wedding videos we had seen, but again we saw your work and new it was right.
