High House Wedding | Selina & Alex

I loved putting together Selina & Alex’s wonderful High House Wedding Video. Theirs was a beautiful day, hampered a little by showers, but not that you could tell as Selina & Alex were all smiles all day.
This was my third trip to High House in same number of weeks & the venue was looking stunning once again. I loved the edition of the giant LOVE letters on the lawn that welcomed Selina & Alex’s guests into the venue.
I must say that I particually enjoyed Alex’s speech. His first line about a ‘stock google speech’ was first class & not a line I’d heard before. It was VERY funny & set the tone for his speech perfectly.
I’m a recommended supplier at High House & I get the opportunity to film there a number of times a year & it’s always wonderful to film at the venue. I was also delighted to work alongside my good friend John Thompson from Pure Image who is great fun on the day & takes some stunning photos.
I hope Laura & Tom, along with their friends & family, enjoy this film of their day. I loved putting together their High House Wedding Video & I thank them for their help & hospitality on the day.
How did you guys meet?
We met at primary school at the age of 10. I (Selina) moved to Essex for the final year of primary school. Alex actually asked me out with a mood ring on the school playground but I said no! We then attended secondary school together but didn’t cross paths or speak too much until we both attended the sixth form, where we became really good friends again. At the end of sixth form, I agreed to go with Alex to the school prom and we began dating (we were both 18)! On our 7th anniversary, Alex popped the question (choosing not to use a mood ring this time) and I said yes!
What made you choose High House?
We’d booked to see quite a few stately homes and manor houses but High House stood out to us as being very different. The bridge caught our attention from the website photographs and, once we saw it in real life, we knew it was the venue for us. It felt relaxed, romantic, beautiful and homely; everything we wanted.
