Great Lodge Wedding Video | Lucy and James

Lucy and James’s wedding at Great Lodge in Great Bardfield, Essex was a really wonderful day and I w as delighted to have been trusted to film their Great Lodge Wedding Video, working alongside my good friend photographer, Sarah Morris. Together we documented a celebration that was heartfelt from start to finish.

Lucy and James first matched via a dating app, and their first date was in a pub in Coggeshall. As someone who used to live there myself, I’ve got a soft spot for the town, so Lucy and I spent much of the wedding morning chatting about how brilliant Coggeshall is. It was the perfect way to start the day.

Lucy and James’ choice of Great Lodge was deeply personal, since James’s dad grew up just around the corner and once worked at Great Lodge. In fact, he had worked in the very barn where Lucy and James exchanged their vows. That family connection made their Great Lodge Wedding Video even more meaningful to film.

Although the weather was wet and grey for much of the day, Lucy’s positivity never wavered. Later in the evening, the clouds cleared and the sun finally appeared, giving us the perfect opportunity to capture some golden light shots outside. Lucy and James were fantastic company, making the day a joy to film. Their children, Aoife and Henry, were also absolute stars of the wedding, fuelled by Haribo they were on top form for most of the day!

I had a wonderful day with Lucy and James and I thank them and their families for their hospitality on the day. I’m delighted to present their Great Lodge Wedding Video.
