Essex Wedding Film | Georgie & Jack

Essex Wedding Film | Georgie & Jack

Shot on location in & around Much Hadham, Essex | June 2022

I had been looking forward to this wedding for a long time & I should say at the outset…..it did not disappoint. Georgie & Jack put on a wonderful day & I’m delighted to present their Essex Wedding Film.

I’ve often filmed weddings that have been set across a number locations that are usually spread far apart. This always requires driving & parking & panicking. Georgie & Jack’s wedding was the totally opposite, with the reception held at Georgie’s family home & the church service….held in the church nextdoor. This was just so perfect & allowed me to keep running back & forth to capture as much footage as I could during the morning set up & prep.

These locations also offered the opportunity for Georgie to walk to the church which made for some poignant footage that I was delighted to capture.

Georgie & Jack’s service, next door at St Andrew’s Church, was so much fun to capture & I should mention the brilliant UK Gospel Choir who performed twice during the service & really set the tone for the rest of the day.

I should say that the reception was a wonderful affair. With the sun out & the champagne flowing, everyone was on great form & the smell coming across the grounds from the food being cooked by the catering team was mouth watering. The marquee also looked stunning. Georgie & Jack had clearly deeply thought about what their reception should say about them as a couple & the whole reception looked beautiful & had a wonderful sense of fun & love.

It was also great to work alongside the brilliant Anesta Broad once again. Anesta is such great company & takes some beautiful images. It’s always a pleasure to work alongside her.

I hope Georgie & Jack, along with their friends & family, enjoy this film of their day. I loved putting together their Essex Wedding Film & I thank them for their help & hospitality on the day.

How did you both meet?

We actually met on Tinder! He was in the army and it didn’t work out at first but 6 months after we first met we matched again on a different dating app and then that was it!

Why did you choose to get married at home?

The wedding ceremony will be in the church next to my parent’s house. This is very special as I grew up there and remember watching hundreds of wedding every weekend, wondering what mine would be like when I was older! The house and gardens are beautiful and hold so many special childhood memories so I feel lucky to get married there.

Why did you choose me?

You were recommended by our photographer Anesta and I like the simplicity and fun side to your videos.
