When you attend as many weddings as I have (350 and counting…) you get to understand that whilst all weddings follow the same narrative, the VIBE is always different. When putting together Rebecca and Richard’s Down Hall Wedding video I realised their vibe was glorious!
Everything about this Down Hall wedding was wonderful. Both Rebecca and Richard were relaxed and excited in the morning, but then as the day progressed they revelled in spending time with their friends and family and celebrating their love.
This was my first trip the the Down Hall in years, since at least before the pandemic, so it was good to be back at the venue. I had to take the 30 minutes or so to wander around the place and remember where everything eas because Down Hall can become a bit of a warren!
The venue was in stunning condition though and Rebecca and Richard were well looked after. They looked relaxed and happy, and again, this vibe spread to their friends and family.
I do hope Rebecca and Richard, along with their family and friends, enjoy this Down Hall Wedding Video and I thank them both for their help and hospitality on the day.
Why did you choose Down Hall?
We wanted a space where we could legally be married that wasn’t religious and within Essex or Kent where the majority of our guests and ourselves live. It was important to us to be able to get ready at the place the morning of the wedding day, Becca would hate to be late, and room for guests who have come a long way to choose to stay also. We looked at Hythe Imperial in Kent a lot since it’s so close to the Lighthouse we got engaged by, and it’s by the sea. A huge factor ended up being the people we met along the way and how well we got along with them, whether we thought our personalities matched. Some people we met at venues would completely ignore Rich and continually refer to the Brides Day, or bridezillas, which isn’t the view we share. Rich had instant heart eyes for Down Hall, and the team were really attentive in emails/comms before we booked.
Why did you choose me?
Similar to looking for venues, we were looking for vendors that we felt we’d enjoy working with. And someone who could capture the moments we’ll likely miss on the day. Your style of video appealed particularly to Becca, along with your online presence displaying confidence and a passion for the work you do. Having a zoom chat with you pretty much sealed it for us.
