I’d been looking forward to Mishka and Eddie’s Doddington Hall wedding for some time. This was my penultimate wedding of 2023 and it was a little further than I would usually travel. I had tried, post-pandemic, to book weddings as close to home as possible, but a trip to Lincoln for this Doddington Hall Wedding Video was a little adventure I was looking forward to.
An early start, road closures, and major flooding meant I arrived with Mishka for her prep a little later than I would have liked. But, after grabbing some footage, I headed into Lincoln to set up at the church and meet Eddie and the boys.
This was a special and personal service for Mishka and Eddie, officiated by a close friend of Eddie and his family, and post-service, Mishka and Eddie treated their guests to tea and doughnuts before making their way to Doddington Hall.
I was really impressed with Doddington Hall. Justine and her team really looked after me and photographer Amy Elizabeth. They were welcoming, and the venue looked in wonderful condition. The reception room was light and looked stunning, and I was particularly delighted with the shot of Mishka and Eddie being greeted into the room. The joy and celebration was wonderful to capture.
That evening, as both English and South African families danced the night away, a screen was set up to show the Rugby World Cup semi-final. Family loyalties went out the window as jerseys were worn over suits and the battle began; however, faced with a 3-hour journey home, I left the crowd as Swing Low, Sweet Chariot wafted through Doddington Hall.
I do hope Mishka and Eddie, along with their family and friends, enjoy this Doddington Hall wedding video, and I thank Mishka and Eddie for their help and hospitality on the day.
