This was a good one. A really good wedding. A really HOT one, but a lot of fun. I really enjoyed myself at this wedding & Jo & Matt were so welcoming & great company & I loved putting together this Chilston Park Wedding Video.
Jo & Matt had hired the whole of the hotel for their Chilston Park Wedding, so on arrival I was straight to work as the girls were in the middle of their prep upstairs & the boys were just checking in at the same time. There was a lot happening that morning & once I’d got some establishing shots & been to see the boys get ready I felt I’d got 50% of the footage I needed already & I’d only been on site about an hour!
A couple of moments I enjoyed during this wedding was Jo’s walk down the aisle – first accompanied by her stepfather & then her brother Bradley – & then the speeches. For all his apparent nervousness, Matt smashed his speech, telling a wonderful story of how him & Jo got together via a dating app & then later Jo’s grandmothers pursuations! Alo, the brilliant reading of Shakespeare’s Sonnet 116: Let me not to the marriage of true minds – set the tone wonderfully for the day.
I enjoyed working once again with Andy from Howling Bassett. We’d worked together a number of times & I’ve always enjoyed his company. The venue kind of left us to ourselves on the day, there wasn’t much direction in terms of running the day, so we found ourselves as defacto venues managers as well, which meant by the time we finally got to rest our feet during the food we were shattered!
I hope Jo & Matthew, along with their friends & family, enjoy this film of their day. I loved putting together their Chilston Park Wedding Video & I thank them for their help & hospitality on the day.
Why did you choose Chilston Park?
We wanted to get married at Chilston Park – It’s close to our history and Matt was a pot wash there when he was younger!
How did you find me?
You filmed my cousin’s wedding in May 2019. We loved her film!
