Welcome to my first wedding of 2023 & putting together Oliva & Adam’s Caswell House Wedding video was the best start to the year. This was a great day, a really positive & lovely way to start the year.
This was my first trip to Caswell House & I was welcomed & given a tour on arrival. Honestly, this is one of things that makes great venues stand out – the welcome they give to suppliers. If the venue is welcoming the videographer like this, you can be assured they’re doing the same to guests.
Caswell House is stunning. It felt light & spacious, clean & well maintained. Such a spectacular venue in the heart of Oxfordshire. I spent much of the morning going back & forth from Olivia’s prep to Adam’s prep & back again. The girls seemed relaxed & enjoying the moment……the boys had a bit of drama with the bow ties! We got there in the end & Adam & the chaps looked very smart.
I should give a brave mention to Liv & Adam for their tenacity in the afternoon. Myself & photographer Sharon Cudworth had agreed to take them both out quickly for some shots post ceremony, however the day was bitterly cold. Liv & Adam both battled through & saw the value in spending a bit of time getting some solo shots. They had great chemistry together & we were lucky to get some time with them in the afternoon.
A quick mention for Sharon. Obviously a great photographer, but also really good company, it was a joy to spend the day in her company & work alongside her once again on this special Caswell House Wedding.

How did you both meet?
We are both from Hertfordshire. After I finished University I had a gap in between starting my job so I worked in a local fine dining restaurant in the cocktail bar. Adam was a chef in the kitchen. I started there in December 2016 and we got together in February 2017!
Why did you choose Caswell House?
We really wanted it to all look very natural, a blank canvas, somewhere that we could put lots of fairy lights, flowers and candles in. Also somewhere cosy and somewhere that was contained so the guests wouldn’t be lost in different areas. Caswell House ticked all the boxes!
Why did you choose me for your Caswell House Wedding?
We love your shooting style, it’s really natural and captures special moments because of that, and the quality of your videos – the audio, visuals, everything is clear and crisp.
What would be your number one tip to other couples planning their wedding?
Planning a wedding can be very overwhelming. Take your time to do the research and take it one step at a time – trust that it’ll all come together in the end!
