Alice and Tom’s Braxted Park wedding was a real reminder of just how special this venue can be. It had actually been a few years since I last filmed there, so it was lovely to be back, especially on such a beautiful warm day with the grounds looking at their absolute best.
From the moment I arrived, everything felt relaxed, elegant and full of excitement. I popped in to see the girls first of all, the I found a relaxed Alice and Bridesmaids. The boys were a little more frantic, working out who to put on ties and getting jackets mixed up! With sunshine on our side, Alice and Tom were able to have a stunning outdoor ceremony surrounded by family and friends and there is something pretty magical about an outdoor ceremony when the weather plays ball, and this one was exactly that.
After the ceremony came a really lovely personal touch, a short blessing from Tom’s auntie Catherine, who is a vicar. It added an extra layer of warmth and meaning to the day, and felt completely fitting for a wedding built around family, connection and celebration.
Alice looked incredible all day long, helped in no small part by not one, but two dress changes. Both looked amazing and each brought a slightly different feel to the day, from elegant ceremony moments through to a brilliant evening atmosphere.
When it came to choosing their venue, Alice and Tom knew what they were looking for. They viewed three other venues, but for them, Braxted Park was the clear winner. As they put it: “The staff, the building, the grounds. Everything about it was perfect. We looked at three other venues but Braxted stood out.”
Alice and Tom’s Braxted Park wedding was stylish without feeling formal, relaxed without losing any sense of occasion, and full of those lovely in-between moments that make a day memorable. It was a pleasure to be back filming at Braxted Park after a few years away, and this was certainly a good one to return for.
