Barn Brasserie Wedding Video | Charlotte and Joel

A quick note to say Charlotte and Joel’s Barn Brasserie wedding had everything. LITERALLY everything. So much so that I couldn’t fit it all into this film. Their day was busy, so much going on, but because of that it had a brilliant vibe and I’m delighted to present their Barn Brasserie Wedding Video.
Both preps took place at Iron pear tree farm, not far from the venue, which made for an easy morning for me and photographer Katy Gell, as we went back and forth between Joel and Charlotte’s more relaxed prep. Charlotte was very relaxed that morning, there was a calm vibe. The boys on the other hand was controlled chaos. Lots of people, lots of running about, lots of things happening. It was to be a good indicator of the day.
I’ve been to The Barn Brasserie once for lunch, but never for a wedding, and if I’m honest, I wasn’t even aware it hosted weddings. That said, the day was well organised and the venue looked fantastic for Charlotte and Joel. It seemed like a great choice in venue for them both and fitted the day perfectly. Plus, the food was amazing!

How did you both meet
We knew of each other from senior school… in 2016 Charlotte liked one of Joel’s topless photos on instagram, with that Joel sent Charlotte a message and they started chatting. A couple of weeks later Charlotte had to persuade Joel to go out with her, Charlotte picked Joel up, Joel came out in NBA joggers and someone else’s shoes and off they went bowling. Charlotte paid for the drinks and Joel tried to touch charlottes bum! They went to get chips after, Joel’s hands were cold so he borrowed charlottes gloves… and Charlotte also lent him a pound to pay for the chips! They chatted in the car for hours before heading home. We’ve been inseparable ever since!
What made you choose The Barn Brasserie?
We looked at a few but eventually decided on the barn, mainly because it is a lovely building, not too far from home and was also well priced!
How did you find me?
We attended another wedding you filmed and loved that we didn’t actually remember seeing you there!
