Ana and Rickey’s Apton Hall Wedding Video was a lot of fun to put together. This was my first time at Apton Hall and I thoroughly enjoyed my time at the venue and in Ana and Rickey’s company.
I was really impressed with Apton Hall. The venue was clean and well maintained, the grounds looked stunning and the staff made me feel very welcome. It’s a bit of a hidden gem if I’m honest, I don’t often film in Rochford, but know that part of Essex well. I used to play a lot of youth football there and in Hockley, Ashingdon and Canewdon so there were some familiar sites as I made my way to the venue.
I arrived early to meet the girls, who were busy getting ready in the Dovecot. The boys were also on site early and they quickly made their way to get set up and ready. One of the highlights of the day was Ana and Rickey exchanging cards, and it just so happened that they’d bought each other exactly the same wedding card!
I must say how much fun it was to work alongside Joseph Kinnerman once again. He’s good company and a great photographer. Please do check out him images of the day here

How did you both meet?
We went to School together from 11 to 15 and never spoke! Bumped into each other at parties/clubbing a few times when 18 but timing wasn’t right – 19 years old in Mayhem Southend he asked me to be his Girlfriend.
Why did you choose Apton Hall?
It was the first venue we viewed and we booked it! Rickey didn’t want a big wedding and we both loved the feel of the venue and how local it is to us – 10 minutes down the road!

You were on a list recommended by another venue we looked at. Then we followed on Instagram – after some research we just really liked your vibe
