Tudor Barns Wedding Video – Shot on location at The Tudor Barns, Suffolk
Alanna and Mark’s Tudor Barns Wedding was the first blistering hot wedding of the year for me. It was sweltering. So much so that during the wedding breakfast when everyone was sat down to eat, I took my self off to the ceremony room and sat on a chair under the air conditioning for an hour to cool day. Hats off to Mark, in his 3 piece suit, and Alanna in her dress, for making it through the day.
My day started with Alanna in Ipswich for her prep. As a make up artist herself, Alanna was aware of the significance of the ‘getting ready’ in the morning and I was happy to capture her prep as her make up artist and hairdresser worked on her.
From there it was a quick trip to The Tudor Barn, a venue I’ve worked at a number of times before, to meet Mark and get some of the set up. The barns looks fantastic in the sun, and the team had done a great job in prepping the venue ahead of the wedding, and the heat.
Alanna and Mark had planned for the wedding to be upstairs regardless of the weather, which I thought was a sensible idea. There was a slight delay on Alanna’s arrival which left Mark literally sweating a bit, but during this time I waited with photographer David Bradford outside in the shade awaiting our bride.
David is a great photographer and I enjoyed his company again on this wedding. We had a good time taking Alana and Mark away after the service, and again in the evening to get some solo shots and the pair were relaxed and comfortable in front of the camera. I also enjoyed seeing the evening’s band Sugar Kube again, as they played at my wedding back in 2011.
All in all, this was a great, if very hot, day and I enjoyed putting together Alanna and Mark’s Tudor Barn Wedding Video. I hope they enjoy this film of their day.
