Stamford Wedding Video – Caroline & Crispin

Stamford Wedding Video – Shot on location in and around Stamford, Lincs.
October 2018

Caroline & Crispin’s Stamford Wedding Video was one of those challenging, but highly enjoyable days for me. I was filming in a new location, which, as a result, always brings it’s own challenges….and in the rain. In fact, it chucked it down. All day.

Having said that, we had fun. Caroline and Crispin were relaxed throughout the day and dealt with the weather in a composed manor and above all I was impressed with their attitude towards the challenges of the day.

I started the day getting shots around All Saint’s Church, which is set in the middle of the town. However, I can only imagine whats the shoppers of Stamford thought of me, standing there with an umbrella over my camera! After that, I travelled over the road to the cricket club to get some shots of the marque before heading over to see Caroline and the girls getting ready.

The bridal prep is always an important moment to capture – not only for the great footage I can get, but also it helps to put the bride at ease in the morning. As I outline in my FAQ – I almost always come and capture some of the bridal prep at each wedding I film.

For the reception, we made our way to Burghley Park Cricket Club for drinks, speeches and wonderful food. One of the highlights was Caroline’s speech to kick everything off. This was a funny and touching speech which made me laugh out loud on a number of occasions!

Crispin’s speech after the food was also a riot! His description of meeting Caroline in halls at university was exctrmly funny and he should be very proud of his speech.

“And now here we are, me and my jet banana.”
